Kimberly Sutton has been playing drums since she was a little girl. For her very 1st birthday, her Momma bought her a drum because she was always beating on everything. Her Dad hand carved her drum sticks out of wood. She played in school and was in several bands all thru her life. She has played with some big name stars. Kim wants to stay humble and follow her dreams, goals & passion of playing drums & music. Her Momma, Jan Wyatt, who died from Multiple Sclerosis, is Kim's inspiration. One of the last things she asked of Kim before she passed away was to keep playing and she would be watching from Heaven. Jan was a lead singer, songwriter & steel guitar player. Mother and daughter played a lot on stage together ever since Kim was little and had to stand up to play because she couldn't reach the drums from the stool. Kim says she owes it to God, her Momma, her family, her fans, her band and herself to keep playing! Kim is from White Settlement, which is a part of Fort Worth, Texas. She plays a variety of different genres of music and her originals are mixed variety as well.
Michele Shealy is from Chicago, but lives in Texas now. She has had a voice her whole life and has been singing in a band for 5 years. Her influences are Stevie Nicks, Heart, Christina Aguiler, Sara McLaughlin, Dolly Parton, Alice in Chains, Black Eyed Peas and Lil Wayne. She can sing a lot of different genres of music. Her dream is to be a lead singer and to follow her dreams of being a lead vocalist for a band. She is a Mother who loves her children and wants to provide a stable & secure life for them. Her children are very important to her. She has been the lead singer for Kimberly Sutton band for the last 3 1/2 years.
Rick Duran was born and raised in Weatherford, Texas. He has listened to music as long as he can remember and played cornet & tuba in middle school. At twelve, Rick heard Kiss and wanted to play bass. His Dad bought him an acoustic guitar and a friend showed him some chords. Rick's incluences are KISS, AC/DC. Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Nazareth, Johnny Cash and Loretta Lynn. He quit school and started working to try to support himself. He joined his first band when he was 29 years old, and played with them for 10 years. He has played rhythm guitar for Kimberly Sutton Band for the last 4 1/2 years. Rick can also play bass guitar and a little keyboard, and would like to learn piano. He plays a variety of genres of music from Led Zepplin, Beatles to Hank Williams III.
Recab Garcia has been playing guitar since his high school band director said he couldn't play first chair trumpet, but instead had to play third chair because he was the strongest player. He quit because the girls don't look at the third chair. He is self taught. The first Led Zeppelin song he heard slammed me to the ground! Recab has played in several cover bands. His influences are Led Zeppelin, Bad Co., Santana, Allman Brothers Band, and Ted Nugent. He loves all kinds of country too, including Texas country & Red Dirt. Recab says he wants to thank God for his three beautiful daughters, Madeline, Emily and Sarah. They are the reason his life is worth living. The beginning and ending of his day, and continue to be a big influence with his playing. Thank You God!
Rick Goebel was born In Houston and played string bass through high school. He had his first rock-n-roll gig in 1970. His influences are The Rolling Stones, Blue Cheer, Jimi Hendrix, and Black Sabbath. Rick plays a variety of different genres of music. He is following his dream of playing music and hopes it leads down a good path!
