In 2014, Chill Moody won “Best Rapper” in Philadelphia Magazine’s annual Best of Philly issue – cementing his status as one of the top lyricists & performers to hit Philadelphia in years. Known for his dynamic live performances, Moody was recently named the Philadelphia Music Ambassador because of his advisory role with Philadelphia Councilman David Oh’s PHL Live Center Stage (Fall 2014). Chill Moody is also the owner of nicethings, LLC, the service extension of the Chill Moody business enterprise. Through nicethings, LLC Chill Moody provides event & music marketing consulting, artist management, and small retail promotion & distribution – including his own water brand Cerebellum H20, nicethings Edition.
In the Spring of 2014 nicethings, LLC worked with Visit Philly to create an out-of-market Philadelphia tourism event at the annual music festival, South by Southwest, in Austin, TX called Homesick Philly. Chill has secured steady local radio play and given countless local performances including, Wawa Welcome America (2013), the Roots Picnic (2012; 2014), the Kimmel Center (2012), City Hall Courtyard (2012), Blocktober Fest (2014) & multiple sold-out shows at the TLA (2012; 2013), The Trocadero (2014) and Hard Rock Café (2013; 2014). With several videos on MTV Jams (6), 2 albums that debuted on the iTunes Top 100 hip-hop charts, & performances at the A3C Hip-Hop Conference (2013), in LA during Grammy Week (2014; 2015) and South by Southwest (2014; 2015) Moody continues to earn his spot in hip-hop.
