SouthSide, is a young Pharmacy student at Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana trying to break the cycle of a crime driven past. The man he called dad, along with his two uncles and cousins, were plagued with the struggles of life in the ghetto and were involved in one of the most notorious drug rings in the state of Louisiana. South was headed on the same path until a large number of his close family members were caught up in the second largest drug conspiracy in the state. His aspiring plight today is to stay clean, finish school and ultimately pursue a career in music as a performing artist with goals of reaching an iconic status. From the looks of it, he is destined for the path he has chosen for himself. His smooth unpredictable delivery will ultimately set him apart. He is driven by the greats that inspire his every move. He's always ready to argue about the greatest commercial hip hop artist of all time where Lil’ Wayne is in red corner (bleeding the blocks) and Jay Z is in the blue corner (with the blueprints). His greatest joy is entering the studio every Friday evening to master his craft. Always reminding himself of the work the great ones has put in before him that have propelled them to the top. When asked what would be his greatest accomplishment, he simply stated " I would like to be somewhere in front of the first four of the top five (A quote from Bad Boy’s newest recruit, King Los) Along with several Grammys." He also states that he's not to interested in selling a million records, but in love with the idea of having 20 million loyal fans worldwide, because if only five percent supports his records sales, that’s platinum.
