Born in Cleveland Ohio, Mr.17stones started making music at the age of 13, with long time friend, G-Dutch…. In 1998, the inspiring "rapper" moved to Tampa, Florida, where he was said to have a very “versatile” style far different from what was in rotation down south at the time. While in Florida, he met another local up and coming artist by the name of Street Ways, which became a good friend, as well as a business partner... Fast forward to 2008, Mr.17stones returns to the Cleveland music scene, showing much growth in his style, as well as his stage performance, doing shows at Wilbert's, Peabody's, The Phanasy, and The Symposium. Doing many shows at these locations, gave Mr. 17stones plenty of opportunities to work with many artist, bands, as well as promoters, which help provide him with the exposure that an local artists needs to become successful in the music business… While on this “musical journey” he began working with Producer/Owner 3ft. of Smokehouse beats, which opened a variety of doors for the up and coming artist, including leading up to a performance at the House of Blues in Cleveland, Ohio for the “iShowcase Music” event, which had representatives from major record labels scouting for “fresh” new talent, in which they chose Mr. 17stones as the winner.
