Jason Lee was born and raised in South Korea and has been studying and performing music nearly all his life. He began on piano at age 7, and by age 12, began playing the guitar. He went on to study music composition and work as a studio musician in South Korea prior to moving to Los Angeles in 1996. Jason has played in a number of bands over the years, including: Half Naked, Red Line, and Nine Grounds; though in more recent years, he’s spent a considerable amount of time recording and performing with various jazz musicians in Southern California. His greatest influences are Mozart, Joe Pass, George Benson, and the Beatles. Jason is a diverse musician with a wide repertoire of songs, and he enjoys playing Beatles and jazz favorites. He is available for studio sessions, private parties, weddings, and other events.
