“I’m not good at much, I’m the first to admit.
But I can sing a song…and I can drink a bit”
Some singers merely mouth the words. Most bands put on an “act” when they take the stage. Going through the motions…without any sincerity behind the performance.
Not BLOOD MONEY.
The members of this 5-piece powerhouse deliver every song with a genuine emotion and real life experience that simply cannot be faked. BLOOD MONEY is not the slick, polished, Hollywood-meets-Nashville band you see on the cover of a magazine… BLOOD MONEY is made up of real people with mileage under their well-worn boots and calluses on their middle-class hands.
Founded in 2011, BETH PARKER and CHRISTOPHER DAVID BARROW front the band like a musical modern day Bonnie & Clyde. In just two short years, they have built a resume most bands would not be able to achieve after a decade of effort. With well over 100 shows on the books from Syracuse thru the Southern Tier of Western NY and stretching into Northwest Pennsylvania, BLOOD MONEY shows no sign of slowing down anytime soon.
Equally comfortable in small-town honky-tonks, surfside beach-bars, or storming outdoor festival stages, BLOOD MONEY has shared the spotlight with numerous national touring acts such as:
SEAN PATRICK McGRAW
Other notable venues notched into BLOOD MONEY’s gun belt include the legendary Hard Rock Café in Niagara Falls, Darien Lake Theme Park, The Attica Rodeo, and CanalFest of the Tonawandas.
Because our music is based on story, voice and lyric, BLOOD MONEY also performs regularly as an “unplugged” acoustic act…showcasing a dynamic versatility other bands won’t even attempt.
Realizing musicians have a responsibility to give back to their community; BLOOD MONEY has also dedicated time and talent to great causes such as The Western NY Food Bank, AMVETS and The Variety Club of WNY.
Heartaches & regrets…love stories & success…BLOOD MONEY’s music is authentic and honest.
