Belfast’s ‘Shake!’ played their biggest gig to date last year when they played to 7000 people on the main stage at Custom House Square, Belfast as part of the City’s St Patrick’s Day celebrations.
Vocalist Annika Graham formed the band at the end of 2009 and their first release ‘Falling to Pieces’, one of three tracks to achieve runner-up status in the 2010 UK Songwriting Awards, hit online stores in June 2010 and continues to sell well along with live favourite ‘Save Me’, which they released in March ‘11.
No stangers to the big stage, the band blew away a packed Empire Music Hall on MTV weekend in November 2011. 2012 began with the the band widely featured in press and radio after being asked to write and record the official song for the 2012 Belfast City Marathon.
‘My Time’ was released at the end of March that year and the video for the track received over 6000 youtube views in the first four weeks after after appearing online.
September saw the release of 'Let Me Let You', a three track ep. The title track was released online in October and January saw the online release of 'Speechless'. Shows in Ireland and the UK are being lined up later 2013, a year which promises to be the band's busiest yet.
