A true to life diamond in the ruff, this Bronx born diva is sure to shine bright. T’zelle is no newcomer to the scene by any stretch of the imagination. Flexing her vocal cords since the tender age of eight, her hard work and dedication has made her into the multi-faceted singer/songwriter she is today.
T'zelle's first true break came as a teen, where she became a part of the female R&B group "R.E.A.L." formerly known as Shades of Ebony (signed to Corey Rooney and Mark Morales’ Soul Convention label). R.E.A.L. signed to Quincy Jones’ label, QWEST Records joining label-mates, Tevin Campbell and Keith Washington.
During her stint with the group, T’zelle had appeared in the original commercial for the launching of Vibe Magazine. Working with many relevant producers, artists and writers of that time (Eric Sermon, Dave Hall, Donnell Jones, Gordon Chambers, etc.), the artist also made her appearance in multiple videos and on the albums of various artists (O.C.M., Father MC, Positive K, Larry Larr, Aaron Hall, etc.)
That experience, coupled with years of touring with various artists and working for a major Gospel Label (Verity/Jive Records) has given her all the right tools she needs to excel in this business that we call Music. She demands respect as a Vocalist, Writer, Artist Developer and Vocal producer.
T’zelle’s writing/vocal skills have led to collaborations with various accomplished artists, including Coko (Hot Coko), KayGee (Naughty by Nature/Divine Mills), Barbara Tucker (Beautiful People), Thalisha (Ear Candy), Darien Dean (If These Walls Could Talk), Hanaan (What a Fool I Am), Malissa Hunter, Chandlar (I Finally Got My Swagger Back), Leela James (Let’s Do it Again/My Soul), Zindy (Reach Out) and most recently featured on The Rahsaan Langley Project’s remix of “Find Your Lovin’” and Josh Milan presents “HoneyComb Music vol. 1”
Available on iTunes, you’ll find T’zelle’s “Kipepeo” (HoneyComb Music) and “Never” (Phoenix Music Media), which has received radio airplay in the tri-state area and internationally.
Currently, T'zelle is back in the studio, penning the joints that will definitely grab your ear, tug on your heart and get your head sprung.
