Chasing Jonah is the stage name for the project started by Orlando based vocalist and songwriter, Ashley Dudukovich. It has been backed by various musicians throughout the past few years that have helped develop the emotionally charged and cinematic indie-folk sound that it currently possesses.
After writing and performing both acoustically and as a full band in the local scene, Chasing Jonah began to build a strong momentum which helped them to release their first EP, "And the Clocks Moved" in August of 2012. The record received raving reviews and began to gain attention from labels and licensing scouts alike.
They've performed for venues, fundraisers, and festivals throughout Florida and parts of Georgia. By the time they had their first release show, they were headlining shows and packing the local venues. They played for local festivals such as the Rock for Hunger, Indie Fall Festival at Firestone Live as well as the Orlando Calling Festival at the Citrus Bowl with artists such as the Killers, the Roots, the Avett Brothers, Iron & Wine, and many more.
Chasing Jonah is planning to release its Debut Full Length album near the beginning of 2014 with Ashley Dudukovich still providing her heart-on-sleeve vocals as well as her lyrical vulnerability and it is also said to feature the melodic and harmony-filled workings of guitarist, Tony Ficarrotto.
