Backwoods Revolution is a Hobocore/Gypsy-Punk/Folk-Bluegrass band from Funny River, Alaska. At the core of the band Eric Fischer on banjo, percussion, and vocals, and Elliott Keebler on washboard/percussion. With Alaskan musicians coming and going, including Adrien Parsons, Charmin, Panda Bear, Helena Chatlain, Angel Elliott, Rachel Hughes, Joey Mesa, Hunter Barnett, Mika Day, Jimmy Jazz, Zach Loveall, Miz Willow, Bryan Elliott, Jimmy Campbell, Ben 10 all at different shows over the years... Making music. All from the Cabin near the lake, the band has grown together with several musicians revolving in and out for recordings, shows, tours, and good times. Along with playing at many Alaskan festivals, they also helping organize the annual Funny River Bluegrass Music and Arts festival in memory of Jacob "Deuce" Larson... Early year shows went under the name Funny River Backwoods Group until 2012, with past musicians, but... Musicians moved on and songs changed, it drifted so far from the original group that it needed a new name and.....
