I spent most of my childhood moving from state to state. We mostly stayed at KOA campgrounds, rest areas, living mainly in the south, moving from east to west working flea markets and carnivals. Mom was a free-spirited gypsy or better yet an elusive butterfly. My older brother and I wanted to go with her to keep watch over her. We never stayed anywhere long but we always had a lot of love for each other even when things weren't so great. In the beginning of my teenage year we moved back to Nashville Tennesse, where we were born. We settled there for three or four years and then moved to Kentucky. My life took a turn for the worst. By that time, I had no roots or direction. By the time I turned 18 I was married with newborn twins and a teenage wife. I had plenty of personal problems; hanging with the wrong crowd, drugs, crime, and then prison... My first real issues with the law got me serving two years in state prison. I came out with an attitude, a big chip on my shoulder, no wife, no twins, and still no direction. I struggled with my demons and drugs. My life was headed straight to hell. Again, I let my addiction lead me straight back to federal prison for a 6 year sentence. This time I discovered "ME". I grew up fast. I figured out who I was/am. I found God and for the first time in my life I had a direction, a purpose, and a peace within me. With Christ, I turned my life around and overcame my addictions. Now I have so many good things in my life. God is 1 .I have a beautiful wife, beautiful children, and a loving family. I have all this music inside me. All my fears, losses, experiences, joy, and happiness is put into words. And with God leading me, opening doors, I will share all these things with you through my music.
