Jon-Ross Habina is a producer, arranger, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and singer. He is fluent on guitar, bass, piano, synthesizers, organ, and drums, and also can play mandolin, violin, and banjo.
He writes and produces his own music using a laptop computer using Cakewalk Pro Audio 9, a small Behringer mixer, and an MXL condenser microphone.
His writing style is hard to pin down; you'll hear everything from straight-ahead rock and roll to Latin-influenced music, and very tender ballads as well as very quirky songs.
His main influences are The Beatles, Robyn Hitchcock, and the Police, but there are many others.
Jon-Ross is also a member of two other artists you can find on ReverbNation; he's half of the internet duo Virgin Twin with the incredible Edward of Sim, and is also the keybaordist, guitarist and one of the lead vocalists of Groove DeVille, the Rogue Valley's tightest band.
Jon-Ross is embarking on a solo performance career; he's looking to do some one-man acoustic shows in the near future. If you'd like to hear him perform or want to know more, just leave a message here.
(ps: Jon-Ross wrote and made every noise on all of these records. One of them, "Blackbird", is a cover version, but it's vastly different from the Beatles' track.)
