Chris Doolittle / Bio

Chris Doolitle was formed in his mother's womb in 1963. Of course he demanded his mother let him watch the Ed Sullivan show on February 9th, 1964 and as usual she relented. Some see that as the turning point. Early on Chris wanted to play in the NBA but playing guitar in a rock band required much less talent and height so he chose the latter as his life long dream. He is still chasing it today.

Frank’s Dream was formed in Kansas City, MO in 1988 by guitarist/singer Chris Doolittle, bassist/singer Joel Hornbostel and drummer/singer Alan Kovar. Frank’s Dream was one of KC’s first original alternative acts in a town where cover bands ruled the music scene. With the help of local college radio airplay in Lawrence and Manhattan, KS, Frank’s Dream attained some regional success. Described by some as midwestern, alternative rock, the band has listed The Replacements, Beatles, REM,The Velvet Underground and AC/DC as influences.

Facts: Chris’ brother Bob plays lead guitar on “How Long” and played lead at many shows.
Larry Groce, from the Sons Of Rex and the Zeros sang back up on “Now We Know” and is far right in the bio picture.
