The soulful composition of her self-penned music takes the stylish, passionate lyricism of Motown and breathes new life into the soul genre.
At the age of 16 Georgia started classical voice and ear training and soon found herself recording with Loomis Green (Jan Delay) and before-long was working with renowned vocal coach David Lee-Brewer who has worked with the likes of Beyonce, Kelly Rowland, EnVogue and LeToya Luckett.
Having recently enlisted the help of a backing band, Georgia is now taking her soul sound across London, backed by producer Gavin Christopher who has written for Chaka Khan, Grandmaster Flash and many more.
Georgia’s debut EP, ‘Follow My Heart’ , features a collection of carefully crafted soul-tracks with a pop twist. Set for release in 2012 the EP has already been featured on a number of radio stations In the UK and has led to a media buzz around the young singer.
Cross Culture Fashion has recently announced that she will be the face of their new summer line.
The first of a number of live videos from Georgia has just been released for her track “I’m In Love” which will be featured on the debut EP with more releases to follow.
Georgia regularly gigs around London and will be playing the OxJam Festival in October.
