The band was formed in 2008 and was made up of two sisters and cousin, Abbey, Anna, and Casey. Their first performance was in Huntington WV where they were chosen in the top five video submissions to participate in a Tri-State Idol contest at Pullman Square. This paved the road to the bands future.
It was at this point, the girls started writing their own material. Abbey wrote their first nine songs by age 13 and they made their first CD at a local career center.
They then started performing at different venues to help raise money for different charities. Their first major performance was for their school where they were able to raise over $3000 for children in need for Christmas. They then were able to help raise money for Jacob Thacker, who had a rare form of brain cancer. They also have performed for Relay for Life and St Mary's Hospital Path To A Cure. They feel like that's what it's all about giving back the the community. If God can use them to help people, they want to be ready to do that every chance they get!
4 Mile has opened for country singer, Jamey Johnson! And, thanks to their wonderful fans, they were able to perform on the Plaza of the Big Sandy Superstore Arena before a Miranda Lambert concert.
In 2011, they finished their second CD project. Giving them more than 25 original songs. Since then, Casey has gone off to college and she is missed.
4 Mile now consists of Abbey 17 on vocals and guitar, Anna 13 on vocals and drums, Anthony Pino 18 on bass, and Kyle Ingle 18 on lead guitar. They have performed at various venues in North Carolina, Kentucky, West Virginia and Ohio. Their original music and covers are an enjoyment to fans of all ages.
They are presently in the studio now working on a new project and hope to get the new songs to you early Fall.
