Alissa Feudo is an electro indie-pop singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from Virginia. Alissa discovered her passion for singing and songwriting in middle school, when she started a two-piece duo with her best friend. During that time, Alissa received her first guitar as a birthday present from her brother, who taught her how to play.
With a concentrated focus on vocals, Alissa developed an ethereal and instantly recognizable individual style that is both emotionally delicate (frequently described by audiences as "angelic"), yet powerfully compelling.
A lifelong love for songwriting and poetry led to her fascination with novel songwriters like Regina Spektor and John Mayer. Alissa's songs are vulnerable, yet thought provoking, with catchy hooks and eerily beautiful melodies.
After receiving a BA in Psychology in 2014, Alissa moved near Atlanta, Georgia to pursue her career in music full-time. The recent self-release of her single "Insomnia" has been gaining traction, and she will release her second and highly anticipated single "Hurricane" through ZK Productions in May. Alissa has collaborated with a number of artists, and even sang the hook on a hip hop track "Slow it Down" by Tarell Tymes (which has done well on the local hip hop charts).
Alissa performs solo across the east coast, and has been a finalist in several songwriting competitions, including the Sea Level Songwriting Contest & the GMA songwriting contest. She has played shows at popular venues such as Jammin’ Java in Vienna, VA, The Velvet Underground in Atlanta, GA, and has won multiple local Battle of the Band competitions.
