Crimson Orchid formed from the Baltimore area in the early part of 2003 with Ryan Poole, Jacob LeDoux, Donald Parks III, Jason Boyer, and Aaron Galloway. With this lineup, they released a demo entitled "Death Walks Away." The band ultimately decided to re-record this effort after Aaron had left the band. This time, Donald would be the guitarist and drummer on the CD. After the album, they would still search for a drummer and ultimately found David Klein. During this time, they would record Chapter 13: Nightmares and Fairytales. The band would tour the east coast of the United States on this album and has had some moderately positive reviews from reputable magazines. While the band was working on new material, they felt the need to retouch some older material and decided to release an EP entitled "A Chosen Path" which featured 3 new songs and re-recordings of songs from "Chapter 13". This proved to be a better reviewed album and people started noticing. After playing shows supporting this effort, David Klein left the band within a year and a half. They quickly recruited Daniel Leeds and started working on a new album. This new album is called "Watching The World Burn". It was released March 31, 2012. Daniel Leeds has since left the band and we have recruited our audio engineer buddy Brandon Wagner as his replacement.
