Pam Tillis / Bio

As the child of country music royalty, Pam Tillis was determined from a young age to find her own voice as a singer and songwriter. With over seven million albums sold, six number one singles, and 14 top ten and top twenty songs, Tillis knows all about breaking the platinum barrier.
Tillis has received 15 CMA Award nominations and three awards including Female Vocalist Of The Year (1994), nine Academy of Country Music Award nominations, two Grammy Awards, six Grammy Awards nominations, one American Music Award nomination and two IBMA nominations yielding one win for Recorded Event of the Year. In addition to hits of her own, Tillis has had cuts from some of the biggest names throughout all genres of music, including artists like Chaka Khan, Juice Newton, Dan Seals, Gloria Gaynor, Conway Twitty and the top ten hit, "Someone Else’s Trouble Now ," for Highway 101. She has performed on the stages of Broadway in New York, modeled on the pages of Glamour Magazine and is a proud member of The Grand Ole Opry.
Pam Tillis has always insisted on writing and cutting songs that speak from the soul. With more than 30 singles charting on US Billboard charts, ten studio albums including the critically acclaimed It's All Relative (2002), a tribute to her father, the great Mel Tillis, and her three releases Rhinestoned, Recollection and Just In Time For Christmas off her own label, Stellar Cat Records; Pam Tillis’ star continues to shine brightly in the third decade of her career.
In 2013 Pam released a Duet album with fellow Country Music Star Lorrie Morgan (collectively called Grits and Glamour) called "Dos Divas" for Sony Music Entertainment.
