On the 9th day of March, 1991.....Lee Desamme was born and given the opportunity of life....His mother moved to the U.S. from Haiti knowing one day she would have a family and would be able to give her children a promising future. Through the first few years of Lee's life he was surrounded by music. His father belonged to a Christian band that would tour locally and outside of the city as well.
On March 9, 1997....Lee celebrated his 6th birthday...but instead of being interested in playing with his friends that day....he was more interested in the news about the passing of Hip-Hop legend Notorius BIG.....although Lee didn't know much about Biggie...the local radio stations played a full days worth of his music. From that day on Lee was influenced by Hip-Hop music. As they say...."when one star is gone another one is born."
As the years would pass....Lee listened to quite a bit of Hip-Hop music but really followed a group called the Fugees....inspired by Wyclef Jean "a native of Haiti" He felt he could become a Hip-Hop artist as well.....When Lee turned 12 his mother bought him a karaoke machine. Lee gathered up money he had been saving and went out and bought some blank cassettes. That same day he made his first song to the Fugees instrumental "Ready or Not" That would be the day Lee Desamme knew he was going to be a Hip-Hop artist and gave himself the name "Blaine"
Over the next 7 years Blaine would continue to get better as an artist. He released a couple of mixtapes while in high school. After his graduation he really began to record more music and started posting it to various websites. With his confidence building as an artist it was only a matter of time till someone would reach out to him. That day happened on the 1st day of September 2010. Tony Kuchar of One Chance Entertainment Global offered Blaine an opportunity to better his career as an artist. Within a month Blaine met the founder of One Chance Entertainment Global Tremaine Green and President Eric Biddines.....He knew from that day on it was official.
Now at the age of 20.....Blaine understands all the pieces of the puzzle are together....with being the face of One Chance Entertainment Global and the whole team at One Chance Entertainment Global to guide him...he is ready to create his own identity. There is no looking back now. With hard work and dedication Blaine knows he can achieve his goals and have his name one day in the same company as Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Eminem, 50 Cent, Biggie, Tupac and Kanye.
Blaine: I really hope all my fans understand how I express my feelings through my music. I will always thrive to be the best but at the same time stay humble, because at the end of the day....life is too short and we must make the best of it. I will never let up and I will continue to raise the bar in Hip-Hop. I will also continue to study the culture of this incredible genre of music....and they say "the sky is the limit"...Well, I'm aiming for the stars......Lee "Blaine" Desamme (Mr. 9th day of March)
