Dominique is a Lebanese recording artist, actress, beauty queen, and former top model, and considered one of the sexiest beauty and elegance idols in the Arab world.
Dominique, the daughter of a well-known prominent historian Dr. Youssef Hourani, was born on August 7 in Yaroun, Lebanon. She holds a Masters degree of Business Administration and Bachelors degree in Psychology and Business Marketing from the Lebanese American University. In addition to a Bachelors degree of Accounting from Lebanese University.
Throughout her childhood, Dominique loved art, music and fashion. Performing on stage in front of thousands and being featured on magazines covers and billboards was her dream, along with delivering constructive messages to the society through her work and fame.
Her charming and astonishing beauty with a mixture of European and Oriental features and body measurements made her win over 80 participant countries for the Miss Intercontinental 2003 title. In a few years, Dominique became the Arab world’s best Top Model, posing for International fashion designers and brands in Milan, Paris, Istanbul and Beirut.
Dominique returned to Lebanon, after determining that she won't trade her Middle Eastern roots and the warmth of her homeland Lebanon not even for all the success and fortunes of the world. As a first stepping-stone toward the real world of fame, Dominique starred the hit TV series "Ouyoun Khaiena" (The Eyes of the Deceiver), alongside famous TV presenter Tony Khalife. The series was broadcasted in Lebanon and Arab world on LBC and was a big hit with high audience ratings, which assisted Dominique in establishing a career as an actress.
Later on, Dominique decided to work for her big dream of singing and one more time she took the Arab world of fame by storm after launching her first music video "Farfoura". The name “Farfoura” (butterfly in the Lebanese dialect) became Dominique’s nickname afterwards.
Dominique’s achievements continued with major hit single songs gaining extreme and fast success. Her debut album "Etriss" songs topped the charts for weeks. And with her hit song "El Khachouka", Dominique traveled to America to release the song and perform in the Arab Festival in Michigan with more than 70,000 attendees.
Dominique's second album in 2008 "Kermalik Ya Dominique" was ranked at the top of sales in the Arab world. Dominique and Ali ElDik had their first duet song "El Natour", another hit song that stayed at the top of the charts for more than 6 months on radios and websites in various Arab countries. Dominique was listed in the summer of 2008 the second in number of concerts.
In 2010, Dominique starred her first movie "El Beah Romancy" along with Mohamed Adel Emam, Hasan Housni, Lebleba, and Saad ElSoghaier. The romantic-comedy movie produced by El Sobky Film Productions, gave Dominique a wide success in Egypt and the Arab world.
Throughout these years, Dominique gained many awards and titles from various statistics and media sources around the Middle East, for her unique stunning performances and major hit songs. French TV “Direct Star” chose Dominique as an influential fashion idol amongst the Arab woman and Kurdish TV “KurdFox” honored Dominique for her successful career and admiration in Kurdistan.
