Larry Lampkin is an American blues guitarist and singer-songwriter. He was born and raised in Fort Worth Texas, where he still resides today. Larry started writing songs and playing guitar as a teenager. He is mostly a self taught musician but had the privilege of taking some guitar lessons from experienced neighbor musicians, such as blues legend, U.P. Wilson. Larry would later tour the USA as a lead guitarist and band leader for recording artist, soul-blues singer, Vernon Garrett. He would then release his first CD titled “When I Get Home”, and it received immense air play and reviews. Larry performed on the American blues scene as a solo artist, sharing the stage and ticket with some of the world’s greatest blues artist such as, Lucky Peterson, Buddy Guy, John Mayall and many more. Larry is a unique songwriter who writes about everyday life experiences, and is one of the most exciting new blues guitar players coming onto the scene today. He is a passionate artist who performs from the soul. He is greatly influenced by the sounds of Texas, Chicago, and Delta blues.
