From the age of three, Tara knew she was destined to sing. MTV kept her up late, but it was country influences like Reba McEntire and Vince Gill that intially sparked her musical interests. Performing everywhere from school talent shows and choir, to charity jamborees and local parades, and even radio contests, Tara took every opportunity she could to share her gift growing up. Musical tastes shifted and under the instruction of her high school choir director, she honed and polished her voice for a variety of genres.
Her versatile style and ability eventually landed her a spot with a Lehigh Valley acoustic/alternative rock group featuring Brian Kibler and Jordan White, who had been playing in the area and beyond for a few years. As the only female, Tara carved out a name for herself with tight harmonies and an contagious stage presence on leads, and wrote her first song "Still Be Here" with Kibler in 2010.
