Dough has been around music for a very long time. His journey started at the age of 8. That is when he was introduced to music. He wrote his first song at the age of 9 in Hawthorne California. Its was something close to a nursery rhyme. As time went on he grow in talent.
At the age of 14 he was introduced to Amar Khalil of the award winning group "Toni Tone Tony". He was blessed and did a track with Amar. By the end of the session Amar was really intrigued by young Dough. Amar told him to stick to it great things would come.
Over a few years school and family took its toll on Dough. He still found a way to stay close to music. Freshman Year of High school he was introduced to "Gadget" a promoter for Priority Records. That led him to a position on the street team for Priority. At the same time he was working on his first album titled "Hawthorne Swanging" produced under Joe Bionic of Sub One Records.
Around the age of 17 Dough found a home studio. He was apart of a awesome group called "Block Bullies". They worked out of a studio in south central called "Hot Box Ent" led by Abcird The God. That was when Dough was tested. That was no playground. The artist there pushed him very hard considering he was the youngest artist there.
Due to some family issues Dough then moved to Las Vegas in 2004. There he felt a little lost. He knew very little people and the music scene seemed non existent. He purchased a desktop computer that is when everything changed. Dough started to record his own music in the living room at his moms house.
Over time he grew into a dope lyricist. He also developed a great ear for mixing. That led him to engineering sessions for his close friends. He has always pushed his self to the limit and we see know slowing down now.
