Miyon Holloway "Chello" was born Chapel Hill & raised in Goldsboro, NC. He grew up sleeping in a bedroom above his father's Jazz studio, and his father, Myles Holloway's musical influence is evident in his musical stylings.
Chello's greatest musical influence is his father and he loves listening to soulful music that you'll never forget.
Chello is from a tight-knit family of his Grandmothers, the late Elizabeth Spencer and Kathleen Smith, his late Grandfather, Melton Smith, his brother, Maurice "Trap" Thomas, and of course his parents, Freda Holloway and the talented Jazz musician Myles Holloway. Chello's life has been touched and shaped by this supportive family.
Chello's parents are his heroes: His mother, Freda Holloway taught him to be a loving, caring person, and taught him the value of a good education. His father, Myles Holloway taught him how to be a man, overcome adversity, and everything he knows about music. Chello feels blessed to have two great parents as well as his brother "Trap" who has always believed in him.
Chello's grandmothers were strong women who instilled values deep into the root of the family and taught he to work hard for all he wants. His late grandfather showed Chello how to establish his career and have an entrepreneurial spirit.
In addition to being a musician, Chello produces music, writes themed songs. To his credit are several tracks that air on the radio and across the internet. Chello has written and produced songs performed at Live Nation venues in Raleigh.
Chello holds a degree in accounting from NC State University but is a life-long Carolina Tarheel fan. Go Heels!
When he is not making music, Chello loves to golf, camp, play video games, and swim. Chello resides in Raleigh, NC
