FM Waves / Bio

FM Waves is an Alternative/Punk band out of Nazareth, PA that is made up of Kyle Werner(Vocals/Guitar), Nate West(Drums), Tyler Kern(Bass) and Charlie Bruno (Lead Guitar, Vocals). Their influences include: Alkaline Trio, Blink 182, The Dangerous Summer, Sum 41, Fall Out Boy, and many others. They are currently playing shows in the tri-state area and have played with bands such as Aaron Carter, The Dangerous Summer, Sparks the Rescue, Transit, and Sandlot Heroes.
The band was originally started by Kyle and Nate playing cover songs for a few months. They had quickly realized that playing cover songs was just getting old and putting together a band and writing original songs was the path they wanted to take. Tyler Kern, a friend of Kyle's was asked to join and play bass for the band. This addition completed the trio of the band. After a few rehearsals and some early song recordings they decided to start playing some local shows. Name choice was complicated for a few months because no one could agree on a name. Finally the name FM Waves was chosen. In the spring of 2013 the band made the decision to add guitar player and vocalist, Charlie Bruno. This would complete the band with a better and more complete sound. In July of 2013 the band released their debut EP titled "Seasons". Since the release, they have been play more shows than ever at venues such as The Sherman Theater, East Stroudsburg University and Penn State University. This band wants nothing more than for others to love there music and to play shows around the world, for the rest of their lives.
