At the age of 13, while most of the neighborhood kids were out in the yard playing a game of pick-up football, or watching their afternoon shows - Josh Pantana could be found holed-up in his bedroom, endlessly playing his guitar, and writing songs. Since then music has continued to be a deep passion.
Josh, and his twin brother Jason, moved to Nashville together nearly a decade ago to pursue music. Although the journey he would lead would not be easy, he remained focused and decided that music, and specifically music for the church was the call on his life. Josh feels lead to write and record songs that speak to both those outcast and reconciled to the church alike. His songs are often songs of redemption, faith, and finding joy out of suffering. His unique, storytelling approach sets him apart from other worship artists today.
Though Pantana moved to Nashville to pursue his own artist career, his musicianship quickly earned him a reputation as a notable session player and live guitarist. Over the years he has played for many popular artists such as Clay Walker, Andrew Belle, Austin Webb, Audrey Assad, and others.
Pantana’s promising EP, Through the Valley (slated for release in the fall of 2016) makes him one to watch! The EP is stacked with songs that are bound to move each listener, and remind them that hope and peace is found in the Lord.
