The Bad Bad Things / Bio

KRYSS: The Leading Lady or as the boys call her, Pretty Pretty Princess, of The Bad Bad Things is a southern raised wild child with a lot of west coast flair. A cupcake full of razor blades some would say. Don't let the tattoos and short hair fool you...the charm of a southern belle shines through often. In her younger years, jazz and musical theater were huge influences. She studied both through college; doing many variety shows and musicals from Grease to Alice in Wonderland. After college, the life of a musical theatre rat wore thin and she took a long break from being on stage. 7 years long. Many tried to get her back into the game but nothing felt right until Culver City High School friends (Mikey,Nate,Terry and Casey) asked if she would try and be their front Lady. Never being front for a band was extremely nerve racking...to the point where stage fright would almost get the best of her. When you see Kryss on stage now you would never know. She embodies her influences in any way she can. Granted, they are not of punk rock background but Billie,Ella,Erykah, and Amy seem to be doing right by Kryss so far.
>> The Bad Bad Things embraced her from the start and now you would think without Kryss, the boys would walk out of the house without their pants if it wasn't for her reminding them to, "get it the fuck together pretty baby." She is along for the ride and down for the fight. The Bad Bad Things will rip your heart out with a kiss and a smile while you beg for more.

MIKEY:The rhythm the rebel! Born and raised in West LA. This Punk hearted
and violently shy individual is a cross breed of country, rockabilly,
reggae, and roots Mexican/American folk. He has been song writing for
most of his young life using his fun yet absurd sensibility to pen
catchy sing-a-longs. His lyrics stem from a rebellious and hopelessly
romantic heart.
After being a part of a variety of bands Mikey dug back to his Culver
City roots to form THE BAD BAD THINGS with his childhood friends. With
the six of them a genre bending sound emerged that tapped into their
individual influences. Mikey constantly evokes the style and attitudes
of his favorites musical groups which include, The Clash, The
Pretenders, NWA, Sublime, Johnny Cash, and Nirvana. Mikey has much
attitude as well as sensitivity that can be seen in all of The Bad Bad
things performances. He also invented disco.

CASEY: The "hype man" of the band, Casey brings tons of energy to the stage. He loves performing and making sure people are having a good time. Something he's been doing since he was a wee lad. Born in New Zealand, and raised in LA, music has been a big part of his life. Having gone to seen hundreds of live shows, he always dreamed about being up there in front of everyone. His musical influences range from nirvana to j dilla to at the drive-in to the Beatles. Playing music with some of his best friends is all he could ask for, that is the bad bad things. He looks forward to playing and growing with the band.

ANDI: From Ozark Alabama originally, though born in the Midwest, Andi graduated high school from Culver City where he met the rest of the band. He studied music in high school and college then briefly At the University of Vienna in Austria. He then traveled around a few years skateboarding and snowboarding, competing and teaching. Then move back to Los Angeles in 2007 when he was reunited with Casey Bennett at a record store/coffee shop. Immediately after their first show Andi offered to get involved with the band and for their first year help to write and arrange songs, that is the band and even played on stage with the band a few times. Into thousand 11 Dan found full-time management and he stepped down from his involvement in the band. Decided to concentrate on DJ, party promoting and producing his own music. In 2012 Mikey approached Andy to come back and work with the band. "He said he wanted to talk about music and the band. I assumed he meant promoting, flyers, email lists or something like that. Maybe even questions about producing. When he said he wanted to give me a chance to audition for the band I was elated." Though he's still actively DJing and producing electronic music he says his main focus Is simply being a guitarist.

NATE: Urban Hillbilly Nate Wax was raised in L.A., from 400 years bluegrass state stock. After discovering a passion for music at a young age, he pursued an education in Culinary and various other arts, he left the life of a chef to pursue a life of rock and roll.
He said of his past, "I had to kill the guy I used to be, and doing that was what made me a bad bad thing."

TERRY:first started banging on the drums in 1999. He was very influenced by bands like the Misfits, Pantera, Slayer, and Sepultura.
In 2003 Terry helped get the ball rolling for California death metal band Abysmal Dawn where he recorded 2 full length albums and went on several US tours.
2010 quickly approached and he started jamming with his long time friend Mikey Flores. They soon recruited Nathan Waxler, Kryss Deetch, Andi Green and Casey Bennett who all in fact new each other since adolescence.
2010-The Bad Bad Things were born and continue to rock for anyone who will listen.
