Hailing from two of the hardest cities in the mitten, Tonya, Myke, Deano & Tom are a powerhouse of talent and charisma with a determination that doesn't quit!
The Stealing Betty vibe is gritty just like their home. The songs are filled with edgy riffs, and catchy hooks and their live shows generate enough energy to light up an entire city and they entertain even the most discerning concertgoers.
In the last year since releasing their debut EP, the band has acquired a tremendous fan base and was in the finals for Hard Rock Rising in March for Detroit.
As original as it is accessible, Stealing Betty's new EP has the ability to penetrate one's headspace and continuously reside there day in and day out. The band worked with Detroit native and producer Mike Puwal (Zug Izland & ICP) recording in Nashville at the Sound Kitchen. The songs were mastered by Grammy Winner Brad Blackwood (Saving Abel, Sick Puppies).
Together they are a well oiled machine having played the smallest bars, opening for national bands in large clubs and even playing 5000 seat venues opening for national bands. They are a band that works hard to play hard; which is evident in every show. They have opened for HALESTORM, All that Remains, Alien Ant Farm, Ten Years, Ghost of August, Janus, Evans Blue, Candlebox, and there's sure to be more to come!
