Searching For Owls / Bio

One day, after school Enzo and Chris were hanging out at the Bench at their highschool. Enzo told Chris about how he writes lyrics but just throws them away because he didn't know what to do with it afterwards. Chris told him him he writes music but isn't the greatest lyricist so he said if you want we can write a song, just give me an idea and we can find something. They parted ways but Chris got text after he had left from Enzo saying he had a song. The next day after school at the Bench, Enzo showed Chris the words and melody, Chris played a few chords, they found a sound they liked and finished their first song in 5 minutes called "Would You Be",just a week before Valentine's day. They showed their friends and anyone who walked by at the time and they liked it so they decided to record with their friend Jordan's dad. James Olmos helped them record then he mixed and mastered it while they tried to thinknof a band name for themselves. They came up with JuneSingsJuly, made a Facebook page and put up the song on soundcloud amd facebook the night before Valentine's day and hoped people would enjoy it.

They began writing more songs, acquired other members for a fuller sound and did a little shows here and there at school. Summer came, Chris had just graduated from school and started working, Enzo went on vacation and the members of the band went on to school and work. They went on a small hiatus for a year but still tried to write or jam.
They decided to get serious into music again but wanted a new image and sound. They changed their name to Searching for Owls and began writing new music. They played at Chain Reaction and the Anchor. They are trying to record an EP and playing more shows.
