An Introductory Manifesto in 12pt Times New Roman
Satchel has been performing on stages for ages and writing songs for nearly as long.
Satchel doesn't sing in the shower, but he freestyle raps while doing the dishes and cleaning his apartment, sometimes.
Satchel doesn't believe in luck, but
Satchel still feels lucky.
Satchel feels anxious in social situations but hopes nobody notices because hloves to meet new people and hear about what people's lives are like living in their skin coming where’s they’re from etc.
Satchel also wonders what the dog saw, especially on the occasion when it met Malcom Gladwell.
Satchel plays guitar, harmonica and kazoo, usually making up the words himself that he sings in-between
Satchel does not have a game plan
Satchel doesn't think life is a game, but you might say
Satchel is winging it.
Satchel has more friends than he knows what to do with
And loves them all, but no two in the same way at all,
And never takes them for granted, although they may disagree sometimes, but
Satchel hopes not.
Satchel lives the life that people rarely dare to dream, but he would never tell you that.
Satchel quit smoking cigarettes but usually has matches on him or a lighter of some kind
just in case it's time to quit quitting, or it's dark and someone needs a light
Satchel usually has at least one pen in his right hip pocket, where he keeps his keys but not his phone
Satchel is excited for the future and
kind of sad about the past, and thinks humans can and will and do
do better when they think they deserve it.
Satchel moved to New York City as an experiment and no one has died
or been seriously injured, yet, therefore
Satchel is amazed at the adaptability of the human organism, at least his organism.
Satchel is not superstitious but wishes on shooting stars and believes in the yeti, ufo's and and and all the stories of gods and monsters generally thinking it safe to assume that it's safe to believe that everything that lives in the human heart is true, until further notice.
Satchel is in the market for a good personal astrologist
And a guru
And someone to play tennis with.
Satchel grew up on a farm -- a few actually, but
still lives in New York City, but does not know for how much longer because
Satchel wants to die on a farm, in the country a very long time from now, preferably. No rush. Anyways,
Satchel is mostly empty space. That's how
Satchel feels about it. Except when he's writing and he fills up, only to be emptied out again.
Satchel is not a handbag or a tote-bag or a shoulder bag or a lunch sack or any piece of luggage
belonging to Zach Galifinakis, at all, but
Satchel thinks everyone should read the life story of Leroy "Satchel" Paige, whether you like baseball or not.
Satchel likes to write. Apparently his own name, more than anything else.
Satchel wants you to take care, but not too much or at the expense of living a life full of daring adventures and boundless love, which is the most dangerous and beautiful game of all.
Satchel writes music and performs and records it and wants to
share it with you.
