James discovered the electric guitar in a haze of teenage angst. It went to college with him, and kept bugging him..."you know I am the only one.” Finally, he couldn't put it down. First he was in a band called The Jody Grind. Now he is full-tilt DoTV. His goal as a guitar player is to be exactly in perfect cadence, with measured, focused breath and blinding intensity of symbiotic bliss that envelopes everyone in the room.
Sam was a guitarist/vocalist for bands until after college. At that time there was a calling to the low end and Sam morphed to the bass. That path led him to multiple bands before the sonic pull to DoTV. He is an avid listener of college radio and finds the mulitple musical styles to be parallel to his many musical influences—including rock, indie, jazz and funk.
Andrew has enjoyed hitting things since birth, but as he got older he learned to channel his passion into glorious percussive bombast. Coming from a jazz-pop-new wave direction to the carnal sonic cataclysm of DoTV is quite a change, but one that he looks forward to sinking his teeth into. While playing, he is prone to fits of bizarre facial expressions and head-bobbery. These fits are not an uncommon occurrence after playing as well.
