I started playing guitar when I was 14 years old. All I ever wanted to do was play guitar. I tried to do most of my school work at school just so I would have more time to play this instrument. Eventually I got a regular job. As a teenager I worked hard and raised money to buy an electric guitar, amp, and various pedal effects. I also bought a bass guitar and began learning how to play bass as well. When I was 18 I began to meet people who played guitar. I would set up jam sessions with anyone who would play music with me. Over the next 3 years I had several garage band jam sessions. I learned a lot from the people I played guitar with. I also advanced as a bass player and I started to learn how to play that instrument too. As time went on I got a drum set and I was studying percussion as well.
When I was 21 I decided to put together a lesson format for guitar. I spent the next 3 and a half years researching music theory and developing my skills. During this time I played in several different bands and started recording music. I put together a small home recording studio and I was making demo audio recordings. By the time I was 25 I was playing music in a few bands that played different styles of music. I have worked in recording studios and had an extensive background playing with bands that played various styles of music. I relocated to southern California where I got a job in a music store teaching music and selling guitars.
Today I play a variety of styles. I have keyboards, guitar synths, and a large collection of music gear. My music studio is loaded with audio and video gear and I keep busy doing several projects. My studio is often affectionately referred to as Man Cave Studios. I have recorded several CD's for other artist as well.
I also went back to school in the early 90′s and took computer classes. I started to build computers. I used these skills to help build my music studio. I have researched all the latest technology for recording and making music. I refined my lesson program and added recorded jam along music to it. Some of these lessons are available on my website. All my music was written and recorded in my studio. My lesson sheets are available in adobe pdf files. The lesson sheets on the website are just a small fraction of the collection I put together. I will be adding music, videos, and lessons on a regular basis at that site.
So my current project is my website. I am in the process of making content for it right now. New materials should be released soon.
I am starting to play music in public once again. I am now available for live shows. I have made several promotional videos so you can see what my act is like.
