English born Earl Parker is a songwriter who tells stories of the heart, mind and soul. Growing up his imagination was fanned by songwriters from all eras of musical composition: Porter, Gershwin, Lennon, Dylan, Lee Hooker and Howlin’ Wolf. He began emulating their economy of style, their lyrical sophistication, and by their example he began expressing ideas using a unique voice; the voice he found while traversing the ups and downs of his own life. Great songs are born from a mystery at the heart of the collective unconscious. They are woven from happy, sad, and inspirational truths directly into the emotions: and it is the songwriters’ job to uncover their secret pathways.
