neXusROCK is a rock band composed of a group of best friends who grew up jamming together since their middle school (junior high) years. Known for their "high energy" live shows and "potent chemistry" in the studio, they tastefully arrange an eclectic mix of rock, funk, jazz, and reggae with a refreshing and uplifting spirit.
Brian "Tricky Myx" Amyx (vocals, guitar) originally started out playing drum set in the early years and made the switch to front man making room for drummer Chris Paxton to join Ryan "Bass Man Finn" on bass, and Jason "JSPY" Gunderman on lead guitar. Finney who was in the jazz band with Paxton swapped guitar with Jason and began playing bass. After years in the melting pot, keyboardist Jallah Keyz had an informal audition with the group as a guest in Nexus Audio Studio one day and the group found a new element with the addition of synthesizers and another vocalist. Tricky's rapid delivery of vocal melodies aligned with Jallah's similar softer approach are filled with sci-fi lyrical content to take listeners on a journey of sound and brain stimulation.
With their first full length album release, Blue Alert reached a global audience as neXusROCK finished within the top 25 bands in the world in the Hard Rock Rising Global Battle of the Bands 2013, and capped off the year by playing at the America's Cup headlining their biggest stage to date.
neXusROCK crosses over various genres and creates a fun filled atmosphere at their show which engages the audience and makes them feel "the connection" of live music.
With new music on the horizon and their anticipated return to the stage, neXusROCK continues to evolve into a one of a kind live show.
