Ruben Vine / Bio

Ruben Vine is an independent musician, wordsmith and songwriter producing something different with his brand of alternative rock and urban folk. Ruben Vine has no political or religious affiliation or agenda and is merely a musician who observes and comments on personal and social issues that effect him and the world he is part of. He has been an active part of the DIY subculture for many many years.

The new album 'Slave Manifesto' is released on 01.05.12. 11 tracks described as alternative rock/urban folk. An album written and recorded over 18 months that captures a moment in time and relates to issues I am, and we are, currently experiencing in human history. This album offers a more defined and harder hitting sound than first experienced on the debut album with it's own unique sound and the same well penned observational and dark humoured lyrics that have come to be expected.
