Chris Weinress, a graduate of the Dick Grove School of Music, has more than 30 years of study, performance and recording experience as a bass player. Currently performing with Mojo Mix, and Huna Wai Hawaiian Band , Chris has been a member of the performing groups:Jake Nielsen's Triple Threat, TED 302, Nice Jacket, Faldo’s Toy, Todd Smallwood, and Mark Mooney. Additionally, Chris was a cast member and part of the band in the Off-Broadway production of “Tony n’ Tina’s Wedding.

Chris has spent a considerable time in the recording studio as a session player with many producers and musicians including: Keith Olsen, Troy Luccketta, Gary Burr, Alex Ligtertwood, Eric Westphal, Tim Pierce, Elliot Easton, John Willis, Gary Burnette , Richard Baker, Todd Smallwood, Mark Bonilla, and Jerry Merrill.
Chris has shared the stage with many artists including: Third Eye Blind, Train, The Alley Boys, Romeo Void, Taj Mahal, Elvin Bishop, Travis Warren of Blind Melon, Roy Rodgers, John Cruz, Eddie Kamae, Ocean Kaowili, Makaha Sons, Darlene Ahuna, Ledward Ka'apana, Dennis Kamakahi, The Cazimero Brothers, Hoku Zuttermeister, Ohta-San, Herb Ohta Jr., Ho’Omana, and George Kahumoku Jr.
