This is St Eloise...Elegant, Sultry, Edgy, Drama. St Eloise is a keyboard, drums & bass pop/jazz band based out of Lancaster, PA.
St Eloise, aka Christina Berg, was born in Lancaster, PA. She began her musical career at age 5, sitting at the piano practicing her scales and Suzuki pieces. She began to write short song for herself, but by 15 was convinced she was sick of the keys. Taking a musical twist, she began jazz drum lessons under the tutelage of the late Mr. Clyde Lucas, who had drummed for the likes of Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles. After 6 years, she entered university for a B.A. in Music Business, and reignited her passion for piano. During her time in school, she brought out the dusty tunes from years ago and realized she missed writing, playing and performing. It was here that St Eloise was brought to life, and she has been a force of nature ever since.
Featured in Fine Living Lancaster Magazine as "Patron Saint of Pop" and on Good Day PA more than once, St Eloise is a gem on stage - "engaging", "sultry", "fun", "moving" - all these and more are accurate descriptors. Check out a show and add your own!
Her style is a unique blend of pop, jazz, and soul along with classical inspiration and latin grooves. Artists that have been compared to St Eloise are Norah Jones, Sara Bareilles, Dido & Diana Krall.
