Writing off Tomorrow is a 4-piece, female fronted Hard Rock/Metal Band based out of Morgantown, WV. WOT was originally formed by Casey Ringler. A seasoned guitar player with a background in metal and rock, Casey decided to bring his musical vision into realization by writing original guitar tracks and going in search of a vocalist that could bring those tracks to life. He later met up with Megan Edison. A singer, musician, and songwriter since childhood, her dark, piercing vocals and grave lyrics complimented his original tracks and the Writing off Tomorrow songwriting duo was born. Later, the talented Joe Canfield (drums) and Bill Wiltrout (bass) were brought in to complete the Writing off Tomorrow lineup.
In November, 2012, Writing off Tomorrow self-released a 7-track EP called "Last Moments" containing all original tracks. They directed and produced a music video for their original track, "All the Blood I Need" that has gotten over 2,000 views on YouTube and counting. Their new EP, "Flirting With Death" was released in April 2015 and is now available on all major online music vendors. They've shared the stage with national acts such as Hawthorne Heights and Eve to Adam and have also been featured on several internet radio stations such as GasHouse radio, Rocker's Dive, and the Unsigned Countdown as well as traditional radio stations such as the Loud and Local show on Eagle 107.5 in Wheeling, WV, The Home Grown show on WCLG 100.1 in Morgantown, WV, Rocky 99.1 in Johstown, PA, Rocky 104.9 in Altoona, PA, and 101.5 Bob Rocks in Hagerstown, MD.
