The Future Capital / Bio

The Future Capital. Four guys from Bo'ness, Scotland making the music they love. Currently working on their forthcoming EP and performing live regularly, the band have a lot to offer to the Global music scene.

Kyle – In charge of the rhythm and beats; his dynamic feel for the drums sets the foundation of the band.
Liam – Building on the percussion with his bass tones, he gives the songs their irresistible groove to dance to.
Allan and Mark – Brothers sharing guitar and vocals. Allan, preferring to keep his arrangements simple but melodic, and Mark always layering up tracks and creating catchy hooks, share the bulk of the song writing that can be heard live and on record.

The Future Capital recently played their first London gig at the Brixton Jamm, and have also played extensively in Glasgow in venues such as King Tuts, Maggie Mays, Box and Nice n Sleazy as well as Edinburgh's 'Bannermans', and Voodoo Rooms and various festival slots in Edinburgh. Allan, Mark, Liam and Kyle can also be caught playing some more intimate shows at venues such as Behind the Wall and Twenty Rocks near their home town. All of this, continually backed up with practice and writing new material, keeps the band at the top of their game.

Having already had gigs listed in NME, The Future Capital have also had radio play Jim Gellatly's Amazing Radio show and on Thea Newcomb’s Radio Six International show.

Keep an eye open, they're talented, attractive young guys, who write commercially catchy, yet melodic songs that you can't help but dance to....and most importantly - they put on an excellent live show.

Catch them at a venue near you and you won't be disappointed.

The Future Capital - Remember where you heard them first!
