Hammering Process / Bio

Hammering Process was formed in the Fall 2008 in an effort to secure a slot on the 2009 Redneck Rockstar Tour. Intially the brainchild of Mike Seiker and Kevin Thomas, Hammering Process quickly became a collective with the additions of John Biedebach on Lead Guitar and Rick Catana on Bass. All four are veterens of the So-Cal music scene, cutting their teeth individually and collectively in several cover bands and orignal projects going as far back as the mid-1980s.

Seiker's thundering drum style has earned him the well deserved nickname"Bonzofoot." Along with Catania's unique style and full range of bass play, these two form the back bone of this unit. Biedebach is easily one of So-Cal's hidden treasures. His searing leads pay tribute to all his heroes. Thomas' consistant rhythm play and no nonsense approach to singing rounds out a four-piece juggernaut whose limits are boundless.

Since 2008, Hammering Process has completed a 55 date West Coast Tour with additional appearances with Stephan Pearcy of Ratt, WWIII, and Circus of Power. In 2010, the band continued to play their regular haunts in Los Angeles, San Bernardino and Riverside Counties as well making their debut at The Galaxy Theater with Nashville Pussy and a summer appearance there with L.A. Guns and Faster Pussycat. Their tight yet blistering performances in just a short run of shows during their first 2 years has earned them spots on many great shows in 2011. Hammering Process will be sharing the stage and providing direct support for such established rock acts Quiet Riot (two nights), Skid Row, Y&T , Armored Saint and the list continues to grow in this still, very new year.
