Tim Malcuit, a singer/songwriter transplanted to Houston, TX from San Diego, CA
Tim currently performs every last Saturday of the month at Whole Foods Market Sugar Land playing covers and originals and also volunteers with the worship band at his church. Working on new music to put out his first solo EP, Tim is looking forward to playing more shows and sitting in with other local musicians.
Hailing from Southern California, Tim had a long affair playing in punk and metal bands. 2003 brought an alliance with his cousin, Keith in an acoustic duo whose vocal harmonies were something to be jealous of. Deployment found Tim leaving San Diego and ending up in Houston, TX. “I got here as soon as I could.” Tim’s music suffered greatly following his deployment and he only played a few open mic nights here and there over the next 8 years.
After beginning to volunteer at church at the behest of his ever-loving and beautiful wife, Tim’s love of music returned. His motivation to make something of himself is sevenfold. Tim loves teaching guitar and playing live both solo and as part of a group.
