I am a Singer Songwriter from Texas, now residing in Nashville! I grew up riding horses and listening to country music. My family has a dude ranch in the Ozark Mountains in Arkansas. The ranch is close to Mountain View Arkansas (folk music capital of the world). Every summer we would go to the square and listen to people playing traditional mountain music.
Barrel racing in the Houston Texas Rodeo was the fist time I saw Willy Nelson sing "Mamma's Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up To Be Cowboys." I knew from that moment that I wanted to be a singing Cowgirl! I wanted to make people feel the way Willy made me feel, happy! These experiences have a profound effect on the music I create now. My music is a Texas Arkansas hybrid.
I started singing when I was three and writing songs at twelve. Willy Nelson, Billy Joe Shaver, Dolly Patron, and Loretta Lynne are some of my favorite artists. Nashville has been my home for the last eleven years. I have made two albums here and regularly play shows throughout the country.
Currently, I'm working on my third album with 10-12 new songs. I have been blessed to be able to have co-written with hit song writers and play with the best musicians in the world. I plan to one day sing at the Grand Old Opry, fulfilling a life long dream.
