Stephen Raymond Coleman "Stevie Ray C." (Born March 26, 1991) is an American singer, Song-Writer and rapper. Stevie was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, United States. His father is African American and his mother is of Irish ancestry. As a child, Stevie was writing music and Always Practicing Guitar; as a teenager, Stevie was a fan of hardcore punk bands such as Blink 182 and Linkin Park, as well as underground rap acts such as Kid Cudi and TechN9ne.
Stevie was raised in a middle-class household in Flower Mound Texas and began rapping and doing music in middle school.
After high school he became involved in the small town's hip-hop scene. Wanting respect and recognition in the industry Stevie Ray C has worked hard to become an accomplished writer and to be a part of the new generation of artists coming into the industry. Stevie has done several projects in the movie and commercial industry and is definitely one to watch out for.
Stevie has gained momentum in the industry and is being Managed By "Michelle Brown & Associates". He achieved recognition for his work on D'Lannie's "My Way" single in (2012) when he featured and Co-wrote on the song, which was his signature lyrics for defeating personal trials and tribulations in his life. Bringing his career forward in a more positive light, Stevie C's first Single "Priceless" showed a more positive fun side of him and put him in front of the world for the first time.
Stevie works on his craft every day and His style of music and originality comes from his deep passion for writing and producing songs that mean something to him; with that being said, sometimes the lyrics are fun, sad, dark, but it’s going to be original. Stevie plays several instruments including; Acoustic-guitar, bass-Guitar and drums, which influence his ambient hip-Hop vibe.
