Following the 60's & 70's classic Rock/Blues guitar school is how Exavier Rivas became a music writer. Original artists/bands, always had been, still are and will continue doing their own thing, no matter what their genre of music it may be, and that is exactly what Rivas is all about, doing his own thing! Finding innovation in underground R&R music, a brew of Rock/Blues/Jazz/Latin as well as fusioned rhythms in other sub-genres, but the end result being a new blend of R&R... Nevertheless, creating a unique style should fairly describe Exavier's compositions, at times ranging From complex song structures and intricate time signature tempos (sometimes incorporating classical elements) To simpler eclectic songs, and on the experimental side performing as a solo artist with a mixture of "Off-The-Wall" guitar synthesis, Electronica and ambient collages, timbers as well as orchestral textures, while the softer soundtracks provide a mellow atmosphere, the darker Sci-Fi-Rock tracks display ominous visualizations of analog sounds, no digital factory presets, no bells, flutes or whistles here. (As per Jam Magazine's review).
Exavier is an indie artist looking forward to the major league labels and concert promoters, meanwhile indie at his own label based in Antioch, TN. (Fantasman Records USA). and has performed original material in Los Angeles, NYC, central Florida, Mexico and abroad. Currently working on his own projects as well as current collaborations with drummer Patrick Caldwell, vocalist Richard Jackson, vocalist/keyboardist Robert Bartolotta and Pop guitarist singer/songwriter Arthur Perez.
