Creed Chameleon aka Kristofer Rojas is a hip hop artist from Hawaii and the first underground hip hop artist being nominated on the Na Hoku Hanohano Awards. Now residing in Arizona, has been uplifting the Hawaii scene and beyond for about a decade plus with numerous recognition, awards and experience under his belt.
The Filipino-mixed descent rapper is often a promoter’s first choice for per forming and opening for big hip hop artists such as Wu-Tang Clan, Dilated Peoples, Talib Kweli, Too Short, Chino XL, De La Soul, Mos Def, Gym Class Heroes, Living Legends, Aceyalone, Abstract Rude, Myka 9, Digable Planets, The Grouch, Murs, Scarub, Eligh, Atmosphere, Aesop Rock, El-P, Brother Ali, Nas, Souls of Mischief, Slum Village and even performed at the first ever Rock the Bells Hawaii Festival in 2007. He is also was well received in the west coast hip hop scene and opened for the Chicago based hip hop group Typical Cats in San Diego in 2008. In 2009, he had the opportunity to be one of the exclusive performers to jump on the OOF! Inter-island tour with Blue Scholars and Bambu. In summer 2010, Creed was on The Ultimatum Cali Tour, performing multiple shows and venues in most of Southern California, which gained highly acclaimed reviews from local artists and fans. In 2011 and 2012, Creed has joined coalition with Big Island and Los Angeles natives, Analog Dive, to push LA Got Aloha, which is a hip hop movement building LA and HI artists together with the motive to spread that Aloha spirit through artistic mediums on a international level. Just recently, Creed was invited on the Vans Warped Tour 2012 performing on the Bring It Back stage in selected cities alongside with Flip The Bird CEO and artist, Tassho Pearce.
Creed recently released his latest single, "Empty World", produced by Arizona producer, Mute. The free single is now available on 2dopeboyz.com and multiple music websites worldwide. His upcoming project, Putting Life On Mute, will be set to drop sometime late 2012 and will be entirely produced by Mute. Coming off the Vans Warped Tour, Creed is currently working on doing a Hawaii Hip Hop tour in the U.S. alongside with Tassho Pearce, Analog Dive, and Maui's own Amphibeus Tungs.
