Liam Grundy regularly tours UK and Europe with gigs in Nashville and Memphis.
Liam is a prolific songwriter with songs covered by Dave Edmunds amongst others and as a performer has toured with a diverse range of artists from The Blubbery Hellbellies to John Otway and The Avengers Big Roll Band.
Liam was a founder cast member of the musical ‘Great Balls Of Fire’ featuring the music of Jerry Lee Lewis, which toured the UK and transferred to London's West End.
For over ten years Liam toured regularly with Elvis Presley guitar legend Scotty Moore.
In 2005 Liam performed on the ‘Tribute To The King’ DVD recorded at Abbey Road featuring Ronnie Wood, Dave Gilmour and Eric Clapton.
In 2006 Liam and The Scotty Moore Band played The New Orleans Ponderosa Stomp and In 2007 Liam performed at Scotty’s final performance at the Legendary Peabody Hotel in Memphis at Elvis’ 30th Anniversary concert.
Liam and Pete Pritchard went onto record the album Western Union which also featured Scotty Moore.
Liam has also worked and toured UK and Ireland with James Burton, Billy Swan and Pete Pritchard featuring music ranging from early Rockabilly to Americana. Some new recordings with Billy are in the pipeline.
Liam has also worked with 'The New Orleans Dynamo' Frankie Ford, DJ Fontana, Linda Gail Lewis, Reggie Young, Paul Ansell, Deke Dickerson, Sleepy La Beef and backed countless musicians such as Steve Cropper, Jack Bruce, Leroy Parnell and Steve Howe. Liam continues to write and tour his own material as well promoting all great roots music.
