Through many phases of evolution the world has brang Khymestri Science to the fore front. Khymestri is motivated to write about the five major things that move her, Life, Love, Music, Friendships/Relationships and not last but certainly more important than any, GOD. It all started with a Kinder Konzerts field trip in Long Beach, CA at the age of 5. So fascinated with a violin and barely even able to read or write, she went to the school orchestra teacher and asked to learn the violin. Even at that age, No was not an acceptable answer. The only option was to go to the orchestra practices anyway, watch and learn from anyone that was willing to teach her and finally years later was accepted in a year early and took the first chair from a fifth grader. Moving to Roanoke, VA was hard in the next few years. The first school didn’t have orchestra but the next one was a magnet school. She tried out and made it in. Continuing on to play with the Roanoke Youth Symphony and participation in Mill Mountain Theater productions, this was a time when she was starting to be influenced by something new… Hip Hop. She went on to college to receive a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies from Norfolk State University. Her Major concentration was Chemistry. Her Minor Concentration was Music. Here she started to get into music engineering and sound production as well as video production. Writing songs her whole life she had all the tools she needed to progress, or so she thought. As the phases of evolution began she continued to grow and evolve to her best. She finally released her first album in 2005 called the Science Project. Receiving mixed reviews, she decided to go back to the drawing board and at that time she came in to the QSL Family. Given guidance and directions from Sho, Big Qweezy and Ladye Dempals, she released Test of Theory in 2007. Test of Theory was a success. She has since then done numerous shows and continues to play her violin on a daily basis. She also released a mix tape called Transition to Equilibrium July 2011 and planed to release a new album by Jan 1 2012, however she signed to the wrong label. Distractions led her to almost lose sight of the reason she became a musician. The label was completely unprofessional and actually wanted her to quit being a musician. She decided to go her separate way and find a new vision that represented who she truly was as an artist. After a drastic change of environment, she isolated herself to find her current success. Now, she is currently in the top fifty for over all artists in her city on Reverb Nation. Watch out for the newest classical hip hop sensation because she is ready to show the world what it has evolved her into.
