Far From You (FFY) was formed in the summer of 2002 by original members Michael Madrigal, Michael Pereira, and Ivan Gonzalez. At the time, each member was involved in separate music projects but decided to abandon those endeavors to form FFY. FFY is influenced by the trial and error of life. Though we have many musical influences, our sound is mostly driven by emotion. FFY is an amalgamation of raw aggression and broad melodies. While songs like "Four-Letter" showcase rhythmic technicality, songs like "A Joy That Kills" demonstrate our array of melodious expression. In 2005 FFY disbanded and embarked on individual spiritual paths which have brought us back together in 2011. Joined by our good friend and bassist Orlando Mendez, Far From You’s much anticipated return is solidified.
