Caroileánne was born into a musical family, as her mother was a professional music teacher and oboist. Caroileánne started playing the piano at 8 years of age. She then learned to play the violin at age 9 and the flute at 11, in public school. She auditioned and earned a seat in the City of Fort Worth's Junior All-City Orchestra on violin, in middle school. In high school, she was in the marching band and orchestra, on flute and piccolo. At college, she was in the marching, concert and jazz bands, as well as orchestra, on the transverse flute and briefly, the oboe. She has been composing and performing her original music since 1999. She now plays acoustic and electric and classical guitar, Irish pennywhistles, piano accordion, keyboards, cedar and bamboo flutes, lap harp, mandolin, banjo, orchestral bells, zither, the French bombard oboe, and is learning the clarinet and C Melody saxophone.
*Her first solo cd, "Sentiments", has 7 songs, all which were written, performed and produced by herself in 2007.
*Her second cd, "Crossing Meadows", was finished at the end of 2009, and includes 24 songs of a variety ranging from folk to Native American to blues to Irish; a very long demo cd.
*Her third cd, "Ode to Ireland", was completed in 2010, and has 7 Irish-type compositions.
*Her fourth cd, "Long Way to Go", was completed in 2011, and has 12 originals of mostly folk music.
*Her fifth cd, "Canyon Sounds", contains 7 original songs, and was completed in 2011.
*Her sixth cd, "Pastiche", is now available, and contains 10 'orchestral techno' songs...definitely a unique musical adventure!
*Her seventh cd, "Revelations", was completed in 2012, and has 12 songs on it.
*Her eight cd, "Kaleidoscope", was finished in 2014 and, like the name, has a variety of musical genre on it!
