Petty-P is a Hip Hop artist based out of Seattle WA. A seasoned veteran who is well known for his collaborative efforts to unify the Puget Sound Region. He has many nicknames such as "Fambo Slice", Because he goes hard into every project and is focused for war. And "Mr. Collabo" for the many collaborations he has done with many local artists.
Petty-P has a very strong fan base in the Seattle area. P has named his fan base #TeamPettyP. Most of his fans wear #TeamPettyP shirts at his live shows.
Petty-P's live performances have been described as "explosive" & "High Energy" by his peers. He puts 110% energy into his live performance, leaving him physically spent at the end of his set. He incorporates crowd participation in all of his songs and makes #TeamPettyP a part of it start to finish.
Petty-P's musical style is described as eclectic, & diverse. In his own words "There ain't a style I can't nail!" His beats can have an element of Boom Bap while his lyrics can tell a tale of a real life situation. On the other hand, he can have a beat that will have a Hood sound but yet have him showing off his lyrical skills.
Petty-P has two studio albums ("Young Caucasian" and "Petty-P") and three mixtapes (Young Caucasian, Petty-P, & Ain't a damn thang Petty) and is currently working on his yet unnamed 3rd studio album, an E.P. slated to drop early Spring 2014.
Petty-P has four videos "I luv My City" directed by Jon Jon Augustavo of Macklemore's Thrift Shop fame, "The Incredible" and "Chinese Eye" directed by Outrageous & most recent "N.W. State of Mind" directed by Produktive. Petty also is set to release a single of the same name featuring seven prominent Northwest Artists Friday, 20sicc'em, Soul the Interrogator, Jae Oh B, Un therhymehustla, Outrageous and D.L. of L.A.C.O.S.A.
